The Belle Isle Asylum is a laboratory/castle located on a small island in the South Jersey Shore, where it is almost always raining. The Belle Isle Asylum is used by Dr. Weird and his assistant Steve to preform various experiments. I was here where Weird created Frylock, Meatwad, Master Shake, and the now deceased Chicken Bittle. The castle was built by Werid's father who claimed that the family would live there for a thousand years.
The Belle Isle Asylum is seen in during the Cold openings from every episode from the first two season and Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters. In the first episode Dr. Weird's creation, the Rabbot, breaks a hole in the wall leaving a hole in its shape visible, which is seen in subsequent appearances. Despite the hole remaining in the building the castle is frequently subject of non-cannon destruction, like all locations in the series.
In the movie the castle is in the process of being converted into lofts, against Werid's wishes. With Weird still present a salesman offers to sell him a unit, but decides to let him have it for free after he exposes himself and turns inside out.
