:::Your putting ''waaaay'' too much thought into this, nobody is thinking about it as linked to Johnny Quest. Its the exact same thing with the [[Powerpuff Mall]], the exterior image and name was lifted from the ''Powerpuff Girls'' but nobody is suggesting links between the shows. Matt and Dave obliviously stuck it in there to save $ and time knowing most people wouldn't notice, even with the "The Belle Isle Asylum" sign visible. Its a location seen in 42 different episodes and is a major location in the movie, I know we can do a lot with it. We could just list it as "Laboratory of Dr. Weird" from the caption or something. I don't think I have ever noticed the sign that says, "Belle Isle Asylum." I find it a bit odd that Dr. Weird's laboratory would be classified as an asylum, considering that many of the human characters (besides Dr. Weird himself) are relatively sane. I just though they'd picked a random Hannah-Barbara cartoon to get footage of a laboratory; I had no idea that they'd left a sign visible. Although I personally think we should just call the page "Laboratory of Dr. Weird," I'm willing to put my bias aside and leave the page be. I would, however, appreciate it if you expanded the page a tad. Maybe elaborate on what the interior looks like... or something. I don't know. I'm not good at writing pages on locations. Do you have any proof that this is the actual name of Dr. Weird's castle because I'm not buying the fact that this is the exact same asylum from Johnny Quest and that the two shows are in the same universe. Edd Shwartz (talk) 02:11, May 30, 2015 (UTC)

I am very serious. If you don't beilve me freez frame it. If you have the Volume One DVD listen to the commentary for the orignal cut of "Rabbot", they actually say that the exterior shots of the castle are actually taken directly from Johny Quest. Grapesoda22 (talk) 02:59, May 30, 2015 (UTC)
That's not the same thing as the shows taking place in the same universe. Just because they lifted footage from Johnny Quest does not mean, in any way, that they intended the events of Johnny Quest to be canon within the universe of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, especially since the events of any given episode are not canon with any other episode. At no point did they say that Dr. Weird's laboratory appeared in the Johnny Quest episode. Since the page claims that Dr. Weird's castle was build by his father, I find it hard to believe that the villain from Johnny Quest would've rented it (I've never seen "Monsters in the Monastery," but I assume that the show is at least ten times more realistic than the Dr. Weird cold openings). I think we've also established that the movie is not canon with the series due to, well, the series never holding continuity (with the possible exception of the cold openings). To be honest, I think you really jumped the gun when you wrote the page. I think it'd be hard enough to write a page about Dr. Weird's laboratory, since we've mostly only seen one room. It's even harder to act like there's continuity within the show. You have read the Style Guide right? Edd Shwartz (talk) 03:07, May 30, 2015 (UTC)
Your putting waaaay too much thought into this, nobody is thinking about it as linked to Johnny Quest. Its the exact same thing with the Powerpuff Mall, the exterior image and name was lifted from the Powerpuff Girls but nobody is suggesting links between the shows. Its a location seen in 42 different episodes and is a major location in the movie, I know we can do a lot with it. We could just list it as "Laboratory of Dr. Weird" from the caption or something. I'm thinking it should be "Laboratory of Dr. Weird", because its probably way more identifiable then the The Belle Isle Asylum. Grapesoda22 (talk) 18:51, May 30, 2015 (UTC)
