"IAMAPOD" is the seventh episode of the seventh season of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and he 95th episode overall.

Plot

Shake gets to beta-test the new iPod, but it turns out to be a real pod, and it longs to consume him in his sleep so that it can become him and therefore replicate him. However, after a night of drinking, Frylock attempting to stop him by keeping Shake awake, finding out that Shake does not like the band Chickenfoot and finally Shake being unable to sleep while he attempts to replicate him, the pod gives up on him and tries to go for Meatwad during his bedtime, also to no avail due to Frylock arriving just in time to stop him again. After getting refused by Carl, Frylock takes the gang and the pod to a Chickenfoot concert, where the pod consumes the bassist, Michael Anthony, and replicates him to the point of destroying the world with a "world tour", presumably consisting entirely of Michael Anthonies playing bass all over the world, including the streets where Carl and the Aqua Teens reside. The episode ends with Carl pointing and screeching at Meatwad, with Frylock proclaiming that they should get more coffee.

Trivia

  • The pods are similar to Space Ghost: Coast to Coast's pods as they both have similar shape. Although in the ATHF rendition of the pods, they have faces, they can talk, they are a lighter green, they have tentacle-like arms, they like Chickenfoot, and we have not seen the inside of the pods. In, SGC2C's rendition of the pods, they have no faces, they are a darker shade of green, they have no arms, they can't speak, and the inside of the pods have an egg-like mouth with teeth. Both do replicate people who are asleep. [1]
