Frylock (born October 23, 1967) is the scientific genius and most educated of the group. His room is filled with many scientific items, including a computer and many books. He can design such items, including shrink rays, robots, a cloning machine, and other technological devices with the little money he brings in. He is annoyed quickly by Master Shake's actions and treats Meatwad as a son. He also has the power to shoot various things from his eyes like: Lightning, fire balls, ice beams, and fire exstinguishing foam.

Basic InformationEdit

Frylock is, as his name would imply, a red box of french-fried potatoes, fries, grillz, and a mystic jewel embedded within his rarely-seen backside. He moves by levitation and has the ability to shoot lasers and beams from his eyes.

There is a jewel embedded within his rarely-seen backside. It is said that the jewel 'holds the power of a 1,000 suns,' and due to further evidence in the Hoppy Bunny, the jewel might be the reason why Frylock is able to levitate. In the movie, it is revealed that the jewel has a VCR inside of it.

He has a scar on his left eye, which was probably caused by Zorak taking out said eye in his debut appearance in the "Baffler Meal" episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast.

Frylock is usually portrayed as a straight male. He uses his fries to grip things and occasionally as "Frydar", a radar-type power for locating things. His gender appears to be male, although in the movie Frylock was shown to be a lesbian transsexual. In a short sequence after the movie's credits, he is shown as transgendered. Frylock is the most rational member of the group and he is also the only one (besides Meatwad's shapeshifting who possesses any useful powers). He is usually the one who foils Shake's wacky actions. Frylock treats Meatwad like a son and protects him in many ways, though can sometimes lose patience with him. Frylock usually tries to help Carl. The most logical and rational member of the group, Frylock is the voice of reason in a sea of absolute stupidity.

Some evidence of his scientific exploits can be displayed with such things as the supercomputer, which he created to be the "ultimate" personal computer. During the New Year's festival, it is revealed that he is the creator of Thundercleese, the war-robot character on The Brak Show.

In the live-action episode, Last Last One Forever and Ever, Frylock is played by T-Pain.

Frylock originally made his debut in the Space Ghost Coast to Coast episode "Baffler Meal", as well as the other Aqua Teens. In this, he had crinkle-cut french fries, legs, an "Amulet of Idahocules" which holds his powers, a fry sword, complete arms, and a voice that sounded much like Err. He was voiced by Matt Maiellaro.

Frylock is also a skincancer survivor.

In the episode Ballonestein , it is revealed that Frylock wears braces, and that you see them only when Frylock smiles with his teeth fully shown.

  • Frylock is the only character in the series to not have died throughout. However, on some occasions, there have been some simulations where it showed Frylock getting killed. In the episode Super Birthday Snake Frylock is shot by Meatwad, which was not real. Also not real was in the episode The Meat Zone, where Meatwad can "predict the future". This "prediction" was that Frylock was going to explode if he walks out the door, though this was "the dog blew up again". In the movie, in Master Shake's "origin story", Frylock is killed by an oversized poodle and then brought back to life by Time Lincoln. This was just a made up story by Master Shake and was not real. The closest incident of him dying is in Party All the Time, he suffered from a melanoma that would have killed him, but later turned out to be benign. In the episode She Creature, Frylock's first on screen death occurs, with no revival or alternate explanation. Upon revealing that he had sex with her, Frylock's body explodes to reveal he was full of her eggs. Frylock's second on screen death occurs in Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1. In the episode Allen Part 2, Frylock is killed by Allen's laser. Frylock's third on screen death occurs in Creditor, when the Creditor rips his spine out. His fourth on screen death occurs in Last Dance for Napkin Lad, where the car he is in crashes into an underwater wall and explodes.
  • According to the Visible Frylock poster in Frylock's room, his 'Fries' are not simple fleshy potato protrusions but rods supported by bone. Despite this, in Super Birthday Snake, he manages to braid them. This would be the equivalent of braiding one's arm or leg, an undoubtedly excruciatingly painful process. However, since ATHF has no Continuity, this isn't an issue. Plus, that scene was merley a simulation. Also, on the poster are such anatomical parts as "The Organ De Raisin" and "The Organ Chamber".
  • Frylock's powers were shown to be derived from two different sources: the first being the jewel in his back, and the second being laser contact lenses. Frylock has shot ice beams, lightning, balls of fire and/or energy, water, and telekinetic beams from his eyes. The telekinetic beams, water, and ice beams were seen only once in separate episodes. Frylock has also been known to shoot missles but this was only in the video game.
  • Despite his depiction as the rational, level-headed character in the series, Frylock has been shown to be insane or corrupt, abusing his cloner to make a chain of family-style restaurants, to creating synthetic legs on himself to try and impress a woman who was later revealed to be a C.H.U.D. (going as far to killing her own boyfriend, reforming his body from his remains, and transplanting his brain into it.) In the episode, Super Birthday Snake, Frylock (revealed to be a simulation to test Meatwad's aptitude for having a pet) was shown killing Carl, burying Meatwad and Shake at a construction site, "hanging with the wrong crowd," deny killing the other three characters despite it being blatantly obvious, and setting the house on fire.
