I'm not sure about other countries, but as far as the United States of America is concerned, yes, the stealth pilot "Rabbot" aired at five o'clock [pardon my punctuation] under the name "Special Programming" on Cartoon Network. This was months before [adult swim] officially aired.
There are two versions of the stealth pilot. The one that actually aired on television was pretty much finished; it just wouldn't fit into eleven minutes (unless you count the scene transitions, which involved the Super Friends logo from what I understand).
The other one is called "Rabbot - The Original Cut." If you're going by that version, almost every scene is unfinished. Doctor Weird only appears in storyboards, and the characters rarely move their mouths. You can also often through the characters' eyes and mouths, and sometimes (especially towards the ending), the characters are completely absent from the scene, yet we can still hear them talking. If you've ever seen the Deleted Movie (I believe you've mentioned living in a country where Aqua Teen DVDs are hard to come by), it's a lot like that.
yeah. i'm from italy. we don't have adult swim here. but only a aqua teen game.
but... i don't know if it's athf but... i have seen two episodes on an italian channel named italia 1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italia_1) a cartoon about food items who are dectetives.
Just figured i'd add my two cent's here; soooo ATHF has also aired on CTNW a few other times.
Though i'm having a hard time finding timestamps, it appeared once at 6'am becuase of a programming error, another time when Adult Swim was still airing later but their show's pushed though onto Cartoon Network time.
